New Rituals to Welcome You at The Retreat
New Rituals to Welcome You at The Retreat
This September brings something new to The Retreat — a couple of rituals I've been quietly shaping, and a small trial I'm genuinely excited to share with you.
First if you haven't seen it already let me introduce 'The Bestie Ritual'
The Bestie Ritual is a shared retreat experience for two — friends, partners, or loved ones — ready to give each other the gift of genuine time and restoration. You'll take turns receiving a deeply relaxing 60-minute treatment (a choice of nourishing facial massage and back, neck and shoulder massage using Husk & Seed products, or a full-body massage), while the other rests quietly in the sanctuary of The Retreat.
Healthy homemade snacks and refreshments are included throughout — because the time between is just as important as the treatment itself.
Arrive ready to slow down together. It's often exactly what we all need.
And new for Autumn, The Pamper Ritual
A deeply indulgent ritual designed to nurture the body, calm the mind, and restore your sense of self. Curated, from wonderful feedback from my clients about what they really need from a deeply pampering experience with me at The Retreat.
This ritual weaves together a nourishing Husk & Seed facial massage, back, neck and shoulder release, a relaxing scalp and hair comb ritual, breathwork to settle the nervous system, and a soothing Husk & Seed foot soak with gentle foot massage — enjoyed in the calm of The Retreat.
A little more time. A little more care. Entirely yours.
The story behind Husk & Seed
You'll notice a new name running through both of these rituals: Husk & Seed.
I'm always careful about what comes into The Retreat, so when I started looking for a skincare range to sit alongside my massage work, I wasn't in a rush. Husk & Seed caught my attention because they're local — hand-crafted in small batches in a studio here in Kent — and because of how they're made: 100% waterless, built entirely from cold-pressed botanical oils, fruit butters and plant powders. No fillers, no water-padding, nothing to dilute what's actually doing the work.
It's the same principle I bring to my own practice — less noise, more substance.
And that leads me wonderfully to a little invitation as I introduce these products, with an offer whilst I try Husk & Seed in The Natural Facelift Massage for the next few weeks, and I have 10 spots at 30% off while I do (in fact as I write this, I now have 6 slots left).
If you book one, I'd love to hear how it feels afterwards — your honest thoughts, and a photo if you're happy to share one, will genuinely help me decide whether Husk & Seed earns a permanent place on the menu.

Only 10 spots at this rate, on a first-come basis.
I'll be sharing how the trial unfolds through September — thank you for being part of it!
Love Katie xoxo
